Is it normal to bleed during/after sex during first month on nuvaring?

I started nuvaring 3 weeks ago, then after about 12 days on it, when I had sex for the first time on it I kinda started bleeding a little. And its been on the off the whole time but its more during sex. Is that normal?

Yes, even though the hormone is in your body and instant, it may still take it a little bit of time to adjust to it. Also, be sure it is inserted all the way. Are you taking it out during sex? You can leave it in or take it out, it's personal preference, and is still effective as long as it's reinserted within 2 hours. If you're not taking it out during sex try that and see if it helps. Otherwise, give it at least 3 solid months before you make a decision to try something. I had many years of success with this contraceptive.

What are the chances of getting AIDS from unprotected sex with the only person you have had sex with?

shes the only person i have ever had sex with and shes only had sex with one other person besides me. im nervous though.

As long as the person she had sex with first was completely clean, then you should be fine unless there was a rare chance of her getting exposed to some blood borne pathogens from someone with aids or the HIV virus.....

I think it is huge. Why do women get into 2 year relationships or so and have sex. They must know deep down from the beginning the relationship won't last and fool themselves. I want to cry when I consider today's society.
